Alkon’s Allenair offers customizable stainless steel cylinders

By Puja Mitra | September 16, 2025

Alkon Corporation announced that its Allenair brand now offers customizable stainless steel cylinder solutions for hygienic and industrial applications.

While many stainless steel cylinders are standardized imports, Allenair offers customizable designs manufactured in Fremont, OH. These flexible options support OEMs and end-users with reliability, compliance, and shorter lead times.

“Our customers don’t want off-the-shelf compromises—they want cylinders designed to fit their application exactly,” said Rich Yori, president at Alkon Corporation. “By keeping engineering and manufacturing here in the U.S., we can deliver precision, customization, and responsiveness that global imports simply can’t match.”

Allenair’s stainless portfolio includes:

  • Stainless cylinders – clean in place designs tailored for regulated industries.
  • Dripless Valve-In-Head cylinders – engineered for sanitary dispensing and CIP environments.
  • Hygienic guillotine Valve-In-Head cylinders – built for precise, high-speed actuation in food processing and packaging.

The Valve-in-Head design maximizes cycle speed while minimizing compressed air consumption, supporting energy efficiency and cost savings in operation.

In addition to these core offerings, Allenair stainless steel cylinders can be customized across multiple design elements to meet exact application needs. Customers can specify bore size, stroke length, rod size, and end-of-rod features, while also choosing Valve-in-Head capability where integration is required.

All stainless Allenair cylinders can be custom-engineered to meet performance requirements, compliance regulations and operating environments. From food and beverage processing to pharmaceutical and other sanitary markets, Allenair offers solutions that ensure safety, reliability, and simplified integration.
