Canfield Connector has introduced its GTT Series GatorMate J1939 CAN Bus Terminators, designed to provide reliable termination for rugged mobile, heavy-equipment, and industrial CAN bus applications.

Built on Canfield Connector’s proven GT Deutsch Style connector platform, the GTT Series features a factory-encapsulated 120 Ohm resistor for precise termination of the main CAN backbone in accordance with SAE J1939 standards. The design helps support reliable communication performance in demanding environments where vibration, shock, moisture, and field exposure can affect connection integrity.

The GTT Series is available in 2, 3, and 4 pin plug or receptacle configurations, giving OEMs, equipment builders, and system designers flexible options for their specific CAN bus architecture. A bayonet push/lock mechanism provides a secure snap-fit connection, while color-coded locking wedges help ensure proper keying during installation.

“Reliable CAN bus communication starts with dependable connection points,” said Todd Harmon, Vice President of Canfield Industries. “The GTT Series gives equipment manufacturers and system designers a rugged, easy-to-integrate terminator solution built for the environments their equipment operates in every day.”

The GTT Series is proudly made in the U.S.A. and features thermoplastic housing, brass contacts with nickel plating, TPU overmold, and environmental protection ratings of IP67, IP69, and IP69K when securely connected. Operating temperature range is -20°C to +80°C.
