Battle Ground, Wash.—Motion control manufacturer Delta Computer Systems Inc. announced that the company’s Senior Systems Software Engineer, Dr. Tim Gessner, has been appointed as the European Director of Business Development.
Gessner has assumed responsibility for Delta’s sales and distribution management throughout Europe. As Delta’s European Director of Business Development, he will draw upon over 17 years of experience with Delta in engineering development and applications support and over 30 years of experience in the engineering and business fields.
Having played key roles in the development of the RMC Family of Motion controllers, Gessner’s business development and engineering background will add immediate value to Delta’s European sales distribution channel and with Delta’s growing customer base in Europe.
Gessner holds a Bachelors degree, two Masters degrees, and a Ph.D. from Scotland’s University of Edinburgh.
