DGD Fluid Power announced that its Cartridge Flow Transmitter CFT-Max is now available with temperature sensing. The CFT-MAX monitors hydraulic flows on mobile equipment and is J1939 compliant with an IP69 rating. Flows up to 150 gpm and a 6,000 psi pressure rating allow the CFT-Max to be used on the vast majority of systems in use today.

The CFT-Max from DGD Fluid Power now offers temperature sensing.
The transmitter now offers a temperature sensor range from –40° to 125° C. The capability was added to the internal electronics and software and thus required no additional changes to the construction or materials.
“This was a a fairly easy addition and we are able to offer this at no additional cost to the CFT cartridge,” said Dale Dietel, President & CEO. “This gives the system designer two sensors in one component.”
Dietel added that system designers should be aware that the temperature sensor is located within the cartridge, so the temperature reading is an indirect reading of the fluid temperature.
At this time, the temperature feature is limited to the CFT-Max (J1939) version.
