DGD Fluid Power is pleased to announce that it has received the first US Patent on the CFT Cartridge Flow Transmitter. It is the first turbine flow meter configured as a cartridge valve.
According to DGD President and CEO, Dale Dietel, “It is a great honor to have our efforts to develop this new technology acknowledged by the U.S. Patent Office. We are excited to continue moving forward as we are making it possible for machine and system designers to harvest real time flow data at any point in an integrated hydraulic system or as a discrete component. As a career Fluid Power professional, it was my goal to fill this gap in data collection for the industry. With the increasing emergence of machine intelligence, we are making it easier than ever to ‘Know the Flow.'”
The CFT is available in two models, with a third being released in the near future. It offers easy integration into hydraulic systems, requiring no additional hardware or connections for continuous flow monitoring of all critical hydraulic functions. It also provides real-time data for predictive maintenance and remote troubleshooting and offers turbine flow accuracy. The CFT is available in standard M42 cartridge style design and Sun Hydraulics cavity T-18A.
