Potential savings for energy and resources are also in great demand in press brakes. With the servo drive in both the valve and speed-controlled press controls, HAWE Hydraulik offers a wide product range that meet these requirements. At the same time, they also enable an increase in the speed of the pressing cycle and thus the overall productivity.
With the classic valve-controlled press brake systems, energy savings in the medium 2-digit percentage range can already be achieved by application a servomotor instead of an asynchronous motor. This upgrade can be easily implemented with all valve-controlled press brake systems from HAWE Hydraulik. The cylinder interfaces remain identical. Energy savings of up to 80% compared to conventional press controls can be achieved with the ePRAX drives from HAWE Hydraulik.
These are available for all sizes of a press brake. Here, too, a servomotor takes over the dynamic adjustment of the conveying volume and the pressure to the actual demand. Due to the very short reaction time of the servomotors, the pressurization in the hydraulics takes place very quickly, which enables a significant reduction in cycle times compared to conventional systems. With the speed-controlled ePRAX modular control system, the required tank volume and thus the oil requirement can be significantly reduced.
In both solutions, the servo drive also reduces the noise of the press brake drive. All systems leave the HAWE plant already pre-assembled and tested, thus enabling quick and easy installation in the press brake. This saves time during the assembly of the machines but also in the event of service.
