The event exclusively dedicated to fluid power technology will be in Minneapolis June 6-7 and Detroit October 11-13.
WTWH Media, LLC, parent company of Fluid Power World, today announced that several leading industry associations have agreed to partner on its two Fluid Power Technology Conferences (FPTC), June 6-7 in Minneapolis, at the Hyatt Regency and October 12-13 in Detroit, at Macomb Community College. The events bring together design engineers and maintenance personnel with fluid power manufacturers and industry experts.
The FPTC event provides in-depth programming including pre-conference workshops, keynote sessions, industry panels, hands-on technology demonstrations, and networking sessions with the industry’s brightest minds.
“We’re excited to bring the FPTC back to in-person programming, in two of the country’s major hubs for educators, manufacturers and users of fluid power technologies,” said Mary Gannon, Editor, Fluid Power World. “We’re social beings and we’re itching to get back out there and see each other again. Fluid power is personal; it’s about relationships and not just about powerful machines and the systems that run them.”
FPTC is also excited to announce supporting partners of this year’s events:
- IFPS — International Fluid Power Society
- NAHAD — The Association for Hose and Accessories Distribution
- FPDA — The FPDA Motion & Control Network
- ESA — Equipment Service Association
FPTC Minneapolis and Detroit will feature panel discussions and technical presentations led by industry experts such as Tom Wanke from MSOE, Carl Dyke of CD Industrial/LunchBox Sessions, and presentations from the stage by sponsoring exhibitors with technical deep dives on specific components and technologies. The event also features intimate networking opportunities, with manufacturers being available at their booths, as well as additional chances to chat in more informal settings, such as an evening cocktail hour.
“I am passionate about the FPTC because it is most importantly, an educational event, where we bring some of the industry’s brightest minds together to train and inform the users, maintainers, and designers of fluid power systems,” said Gannon. “Attendees can learn about the latest trends and innovations, as well as get some basics on component technologies, troubleshooting, system design, maintenance, and more.”
