HydraForce launches HTS38-34 proportional pressure valve

HydraForce has released the HTS38-34 proportional pressure control valve for full production. The direct-acting, compact valve provides high-pressure capability, quick response and low leakage in an industry-standard cavity.

Engineered to maintain stable control at high flow in demanding hydraulic circuits, the HTS38-34 combines a maximum inlet pressure of 350 bar (5,000 psi), control pressure up to 152 bar (2200 psi) and a flow capacity of stable control from 0 to 19 lpm (5 gpm) with a maximum internal leakage of 95 ml/min (5.8 in³/min), which is 40% less than other direct acting valves and 70% less than pilot operated valves. Its direct-acting design enables quick response and consistent performance, making it suitable for braking, clutch and pilot control functions in mobile and agricultural equipment that require precise pressure regulation.

“By combining high pressure, fast response, and low leakage in a compact, cost-effective design, the HTS38-34 offers OEMs new flexibility in building efficient hydraulic systems,” said Brian Del Ben, product manager, Bosch Rexroth Compact Hydraulics. “We are excited to bring this solution into full production and make it more widely available for mobile and off-highway equipment manufacturers.”

Target applications include:

  • Agricultural downforce and mechanical weeders: Delivers faster response time than slower directional or flow control valves.
  • Braking systems: Provides low leakage performance for agricultural and forestry vehicles to meet secondary brake regulations, an anticipated requirement of the EU Brake Directive 2015/68.
  • Differential control: Enables smooth pressure ramping for locking differentials or slip torque adjustments with low leakage at a competitive cost.
  • Baler tensioning: Offers stable, low-leakage operation for tensioner circuits.

A planned 2026 update will make the HTS38-34 compatible as a direct replacement for the industry-standard -08 size 3-way cavity, easing integration.
