Successful use of fluid power technology is often dependent on a good relationship with a qualified distributor. This is why attendees to the Fluid Power Technology Conference, presented by Fluid Power World, will have a chance to hear from one such distributor on this topic.
“The Value of the Fluid Power Distributor in a Changing World” is sponsored by Flodraulic Group and will be presented by Bill Tulloch, Flodraulic’s Executive VP. Tulloch will pose the following questions to attendees: Why not purchase direct? What value is there in working through a middleman?
He will then talk about how the term “distributor” in today’s fluid power world has taken on significant new meaning that redefines how it operated from just a few years back. It’s no longer about “moving boxes” through the supply chain as efficiently as possible. This presentation will seek to present the continually evolving role of the fluid power distributor as an integral member of both the manufacturer’s marketing team and the customer’s engineering team.
Attendees will have several other opportunities to learn from industry experts—as well as pneumatic and hydraulic manufacturers—at the two-day event. Slated for the Milwaukee School of Engineering’s Kern Center on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 21 and 22, the event will feature nearly 10 other sessions led by experts in their respective fields.
