Do you need a quick way to switch fluid power lines while maintaining a leak free environment either in your product design or testing facility? Does your design warrant a precision machined assembly that is easy to use, reduces down time and eliminates leaks? Is space limited? If so, Beswick Engineering’s new dry break quick disconnects, QDM3I and QDM3E, might be suitable for your application.
The Dry Break Quick Disconnect not only reduces assembly time but also prevents fluid from leaking out of the connector and damaging electrical/mechanical systems. The disconnection is made by pulling a knurled sleeve back which is not only easy to use but also takes less than a second, saving costly downtime.
Minimized dead volume (the space between the internal and external ends when connected) creates strong sealing capabilities so leaks are non-existent when the two halves are disconnected. This is especially important when the fluid is a liquid or flammable gas. Both sides of the quick disconnect, internal and external, are fully shut-off prior to disconnection.
Fast paced product development cycles are a reality with this design as assembly is quick and fluid leaks are eliminated. Manufactured in corrosion resistant 303 stainless steel and manufactured with a M3 thread.
