Trelleborg Sealing Solutions has promoted Eric Simerman to Technology Laboratory Supervisor, Research and Development Services.
Simerman will manage all aspects of the laboratory with an emphasis on both short- and long-term test activities. He will focus on providing superior technical service and growth across the entire Trelleborg Sealing Solutions portfolio.
“As the primary commercial engineering resource, Eric will play a critical role as the testing liaison with the technical communities in the Americas, Europe and Asia. I am confident that he will provide the technical input that initiates and supports strategic development and innovation, and provides robust testing services,” said John McLaughlin, Director of Research & Development Services for the Americas.
Simerman has 12 years of experience as a test engineer with Trelleborg. He is skilled in designing mechanical and electrical test equipment, managing and implementing designs, fabricating test equipment, and performing high-pressure testing.
