The new Diamondback tubular sleeve from Suburban Manufacturing is part of the company’s Python line of protective sleeves and covers. It protects operators from hose burst and pin holes. The sleeve material is pin hole protection tested to 4,000 psi and burst tested to 12,000 psi.
It meets operator “Line of Sight” specification EN982 norm 833 EN414, ISO Reg. 3457:2003 and is MSHA approved # IC-289/01. It offers excellent UV, chemical, and abrasion protection, and meets abrasion standards ( ISO 6945 and
ASTM D6770) tested to over 1 million cycles.
Its ultra tight construction reduces oil spillage. Diamondback is constructed using a proprietary fiber, tightly woven, providing highly effective abrasion protection. The weave produces a very sleek finish allowing Diamondback to easily slide over hoses and hose ends without snagging.
The products is easily cut to length and is 50% less bulky than similar Cordura brand sleeves. Standard lengths are sold in 300 ft increments. It is available for maximum I.D. of 0.67 up to 5.755 in. (flat width of 1.18 to 9.045 in.).
Typical applications include aerial lifts, mowers, cranes, forklifts, agriculture equipment, rock drills, and hydraulic hand tools.
