DeRung joined the JEM team nearly a decade ago. In his previous role as Electronic Controls Manager, he contributed his vast technical expertise to development and growth of the JEM Controls Division within the company. Previously, he served as a Systems Engineer at Eaton’s Hydraulics Division. During his tenure at Eaton, he was responsible for commercializing electrohydraulic control solutions for the industrial equipment markets.

“Andrew has been a valuable employee in our organization for some time,” said Andrea Tysdal, president of JEM Technical, Inc. “Given his history with us, as well as his product and industry knowledge of hydraulic and electronic controls, I am confident that Andrew will lead JEM Technical to the next level, bringing new services and solutions to our customers.”

DeRung earned his Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Management at the University of Minnesota, Crookston, and also attended Alexandria Technical College where he earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Manufacturing Engineering.

“JEM’s expertise in controls technologies truly makes it an industry leader,” said DeRung. “It’s been exciting and enjoyable to work with the company over the last decade and I’m looking forward to continuing to contribute to the company’s growth and bring the best product lines and service to our clients.”
