Delta Computer Systems, Inc. has announced its RMC Family of Motion Controllers have passed PROFINET IO Device re-certification. Re-certification ensures that existing certified products comply with ongoing enhancements to the PROFINET specification and certification process.
This re-certification status and related firmware updates to RMC75E and RMC150E closedloop Motion Controllers means Delta’s RMC products are 100% up to date with today’s PROFINET.
“Delta customers have employed RMC motion controllers with PROFINET and PROFIBUS communications capability for many years to achieve precise position and pressure/force control in industrial environments,” stated Steve Nylund, Delta’s CEO. “These re-certification processes show we are committed to keep our products fully compliant with industrial network standards. This assures our customers that our RMC motion controllers will continue to communicate effectively and reliably on PROFINET networks.” Nylund added.
